Rooted in Spirit. Backed by IFS.
There’s a quiet, indestructible wisdom inside you—an unshakeable core that remembers who you are, even when the world feels chaotic or your inner voices pull you in different directions.
My work is rooted in Spirit because I believe your healing is sacred.
And it’s backed by IFS—Internal Family Systems—because healing also needs structure, safety, and a map.
What it Means to Be Rooted in Spirit
To be rooted in Spirit is to trust in something deeper than the thinking mind. It is to work from the belief that we are divine beings, not just human ones. It means listening to the voice that speaks not in words but in knowing. Spirit shows up in the synchronicities, in the stillness beneath the noise, in the felt sense that you’re already whole—even if parts of you feel broken.
Spirit reminds us: you are not a project to be fixed. You are a mystery to be tended to with love.
Being rooted in Spirit also means honoring mystery. In a culture obsessed with productivity and pathologizing, Spirit invites us into presence. Into reverence. Into relationship with something larger than the story we’re in.
When we root into Spirit, we’re not escaping reality—we’re grounding into a truth that holds us through all of it: grief, joy, rage, confusion, hope.
This is the sacred space where my coaching begins.
Why Being Backed by IFS Matters
Internal Family Systems gives us a practical, trauma-informed method for navigating the complexity of your inner world. It helps you make sense of the different parts of you—like the one who’s scared, the one who’s trying to control everything, or the one who wants to give up.
IFS offers a way to meet those parts with compassion rather than resistance.
In IFS, we don’t push parts away. We build relationship. We listen, we witness, and we heal—not by fixing the parts, but by restoring connection to the Self, your essential, indestructible inner leader. The one who leads with calm, clarity, confidence, and compassion.
IFS is the structure that allows the mystery of Spirit to do its work.
Spirit + Structure: A Client Story
When Lena first came to me, she had a part that was constantly “doing”—striving, producing, fixing. She feared that if she stopped, everything would fall apart. Underneath that part was a tightly guarded exile: a little girl who had learned early on that love had to be earned.
Lena’s protector had good reasons for taking over. And through IFS, we honored it fully. We listened to what it feared. We built trust. Eventually, it stepped back just enough for Lena to access Self energy: curious, calm, open-hearted.
And then something shifted.
In one session, when I asked Lena what was happening in her body, she paused and whispered, “There’s something here… it feels like light.” I stayed silent and let her be with it.
Self is like the sun… it is sometimes obscured, but it is always there.
That was Lena’s first glimpse of something deeper than strategy or survival. She was no longer trying to manage her healing. She was listening to it. Trusting it. Rooted in Spirit, and backed by a method that knew how to hold the unfolding.
